How to narrow it down to your favorites
Picking favorites is harder than it sounds. Rules people use:
One game per series, so a franchise does not take half the grid. Would you replay it tomorrow? If not, it may be nostalgia rather than a favorite. Mix eras: one childhood game, one recent release. Keep one wildcard square for the game nobody expects.

Search the way gamers talk
Type games the way you say them: acronyms (botw, rdr2, bg3), nicknames (melee, silksong, new vegas), numbers either way (ff7 = ffvii), remakes (re4 remake) and typos (skyrm) all find the right game.

What is the difference between a favorite games grid and a "games that made me" grid?
Favorites are the games you love today. "Made me" or "shaped me" grids are about influence and can include games you would not replay now. Rename the grid to match the one you are making.
