How to make a my 9 games grid

Seven steps, about five minutes. Everything happens in the browser and you never need an account.

Open the maker

1. Pick a question first

   Decide what the nine are about: the games that made you, your childhood, your favorites right now, one console. The 9 templates give you a title and a prompt for every square; press 🎲 Pick template in the maker to flip through them.

2. Search each game

   Tap an empty square and type. Full names, acronyms (botw, totk, ff14), nicknames (melee) and typos all work. Add a year to get a specific release: “doom 2016”, “resident evil 4 2023”.

3. Arrange the grid

   Drag covers to reorder. Put your most important game in the middle or the first square; people read a grid top-left first.

4. Go past nine if you need to

   Use + to add up to 16 games. The layout reflows into rows of four and the downloaded image follows it. That is the “now do 10–16” trend.

5. Choose how it looks

   Keep “Show game titles on the covers” on if your friends might not recognise every box art; turn it off for a clean cover wall.

6. Download or copy a short link

   Download image saves a PNG for Instagram or X. Copy link gives a short link whose preview shows your grid, and anyone who opens it can edit a copy.

7. Turn it into a ranklist

   Press “Create your own ranklist”, send the link, and friends add their nine. The ranklist unlocks once two people have joined and shows which games your group picked most.
