grampSLOP is the late-90s tier: big-box PC games and the first PlayStation. If uncslop is your uncle’s favorites, grampslop is what he grew up watching his older cousins play.
The list is almost a hall of fame: Half-Life, Deus Ex, StarCraft, Diablo II, Baldur’s Gate II, Final Fantasy VII and Ocarina of Time.
Slop is what the internet calls content people consume on autopilot, and the “xxxSLOP” meme pins that label on a generation’s favorite games: a wall of covers, the tier name in huge letters, and a wojak pointing at it. It is affectionate; most games on these lists are genuine classics.
